

He married Joan Lee Oberg on September 15, 1951 in Howard Lake, Minnesota. Milt was a veteran having served in the United States Navy on the USS Quillback and at the United States Naval Submarine Base in Connecticut. He was a clerk with the Denver & Rio Grande Western Rail Road, Denver, Colorado, the manager at the Northwoods Inn, Englewood, Colorado, and the manager at the Alpine Village Inn, Arizona and Colorado. After retirement, Milt resided in Chappell, Nebraska before returning to Colorado.
Milt enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards. He was of the Christian faith.
He is survived by Joan Bartlett-Daniels, his daughter Melinda L. Searcy, son Larry M. Bartlett and wife Karen, son Lee T. Bartlett and wife Marilyn; six grandchildren, Alecia Wehr and husband Curtis, Kyle Bartlett and wife Tiffany, Lee Searcy and wife Kendra, Travis Bartlett, Lance Searcy and wife Katie, and Michelle Bartlett; seven great-grandchildren, Braden Wehr, Kyla Wehr, Ryland Bartlett, Bryleigh Bartlett, Emerie Searcy, Kyler Bartlett, and Brixston Searcy; and siblings, Lloyd Bartlett and Jerry Bartlett.
His parents, siblings, Charles Bartlett, Pearl Gasparovich, Virginia Anderson, and Robert Bartlett, and son-in-law August Searcy preceded him in death.
Burial with honor guard at Fort Logan Cemetery, Englewood, Colorado at 11:30 a.m. on September 9, 2020.
