Patty Jo Jackson

Patty was born in Sharon Springs, Kansas, where she lived until the age of 14, when she moved to Colorado. She attended Adams County High School through the end of her sophomore year. During that time, she met the love of her life, Raymond Jackson, at the Wheel. The two married soon after and shared a loving life together.

During their marriage, Patty and Raymond raised four children: Duane (Marla Jackson) of Brighton, Danny (Brenda Jackson) of Keenesburg, Penny Scheierman (Tim) of Evans, and Shelly Jackson of Hudson.

Patty was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, and she also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Jackson, and her brother, Chuck Alumbaugh. She is survived by her sister, Sandy Heideman of Buckeye, Arizona.

Patty lived in Hudson, Colorado, for 66 years, where she enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved swimming, playing cards, gambling, and, most of all, spending time with her family. Her warmth, spirit, and love for those around her will be deeply missed.

A funeral service will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary which is located at 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229. A committal service will take place from 11:00 am to 11:30 am, also at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery. A reception will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the same venue.
