Paul Cleveland Phoebus

Paul Cleveland Phoebus passed away peacefully on April 20, 2022 at his home in Keenesburg, Colorado. He was born on May 25, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Zadoc “Ed” and Martha Phoebus(Lenz). He was a loved father, brother, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Paul grew up and attended schools in the Bloomfield Hills area. He Graduated from Groves High School in 1970. After graduation, he attended Ferris State College, before being accepted into Michigan State University. He attended many colleges throughout his lifetime, with his highest achievements being a Bachelors of Arts from Michigan State in 1976 and a Master of Business Administration from Regis College in 1984.

Paul was a loving and devoted father, a determined (and stubborn) individual, and he was kind and caring. He loved learning. He had a career in Accounting, but also had many other jobs; he was always willing to start something new. Among other things, some of the ones he enjoyed the most were skiing, camping, working on cars, and spending time with his kids.

Paul is survived by his four wonderful children, Apollo Phoebus, Zack Phoebus, Cassie Phoebus, and Tia Phoebus; his three grandchildren, Gauge Johnson, Paxton Johnson and Nathan Phoebus; his four siblings, Martha Phoebus, Ed Phoebus, Mary Synowiec, Mike Phoebus; and his four Niece/Nephews, Sarah Synowiec, Nik Synowiec, Nat Synowiec, Ruth Synowiec.

Visitation for Paul will be 12pm until 1pm, Monday, May 9, 2022. Funeral Services will commence at 1pm to 2pm at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton 80229.
