Pauline Barbara Gross

July 8, 1936 – March 26, 2023

Pauline Gross was born July 8, 1936 in Lincoln NE, the only child of six born in a hospital. She graduated from Beaver Crossing High School, went to summer school to become a teacher. Pauline taught 1 to 8th grade in a one room school house until her third child was born. She met Richard in 1955 in Swanton, NE; they were married August 20th, 1957.

They moved to Golden, Colorado in 1968 as Richard had a scholarship to attend gunsmithing school. They moved to Westminster in 1970, Pauline lived in that house for 45 years until she moved to San Marino Senior Living Center in 2015.

Pauline worked at the Post Office from 1970 until she retired as the postmaster in Rollinsville in 1995. She was the Westminster United Methodist Church’s janitor for a spell, also was the bookkeeper. She was a member of the Builder’s Sunday School Class for years.

Pauline died at North Suburban Hospital in Thornton, Colorado on March 26, 2023 at the age of 86.

A visitation for Pauline will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary & Cemetery, 10201 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229.
