Robert Bob Eugene Bennett

Robert "Bob" Eugene Bennett, Jr., age 72 of Sequin, Texas; formerly of Denver, Colorado passed away after a brief illness on June 21, 2011. Bob was born on August 10, 1938 in Torrance, California to Robert E. Bennett Sr. and Pearl Reeder Bennett. Prior to moving to Sequin, Texas, Bob worked as a custodian for the Boulder Police Department. Bob and Jan moved to Sequin seven years ago where he worked in the Hardware Department at Wal-Mart. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Bennett and sister Virginia Brown. Survivors included his loving wife, Janell (Jan) Bennett; children, Georgia Branch and husband Vincent, John Bennett and wife Christine, Richard Bennett; step-sons, Rod Hunt and family and Ed Hunt and family; siblings, Joan Kaylor, Don Bennett and wife Penny, Phyllis Dowell, Anita St. Germaine, Bill Bennett and wife Norma; 11 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to The Robert E. Bennett Memorial Fund in care of Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 N. Grant St., Thornton, CO. 80229 Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2011, 3:00PM-8:00PM. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 9:00 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 N. Grant St., Thornton, CO 80229.
