This man right here is my grandpa. The most important person in my life. Papa’s wife (my grandma) had this dream to watch all of her grandchildren graduate, sadly she passed before being able to accomplish that. After that my papa took over & took the dream she had. Despite how sick he was, he pushed to watch me, the youngest grandchild, graduate. He even dressed up & went all out wearing a tux for my graduation, not something he did for anyone else. He knew this was the end. Seeing him in the hospital & in hospice care broke my heart. His passing broke me even further. 

My sophomore year we were designing our class rings & we were given these companion rings to wear until we got our actual rings. They told us that when we get our actual rings we are supposed to give our companion ring to someone who meant the most to you, so I gave mine to my papa. I told him what it was for & he almost cried. For almost 3 years he never took it off. Every time  he saw me he showed me that he had it on & his face would light up. This right here made my heart so so happy. That will be a feeling I will never feel again. That ring meant the world to him. We took it off of him at the hospital because we didn’t want it to get stolen on the transfer from the hospital to hospice or from the transfer from kansas to colorado. When we got to colorado for the funeral I gave the person at the mortuary getting him ready the ring to put on him. I told her that I wanted him to be buried with it because I knew how much it meant to him. It meant the world to me to have it be buried with him so I was so strict on where i put it. Giving them that ring was hard. 

I just want to thank everyone for the prayers & love you’ve given to my family. 

Oh papa. 
This house of mine just isn’t the same,
My favorite memories are in a disarray,
But I must say I’m jealous you get to see those pearly gates,
You followed the yellow brick road to be on streets of gold, 
Where the love of your life awaited you, 
While we all grieved for you.

My house is not a home, 
Since you’ve taken your wings and flown,
You left your things in a hurry,
Everything seems so blurry.

Wait for me at the gates, 
Greet me in your own special way,
And as you’d always say,
Hello beautiful angel, how’re you today. 

Oh papa. 
You left me in a state of dismay, 
Please come back to me again, someday.

Since you’ve took your wings and flown. 



We loved Bob before he asked Teen to marry him. He bought a station wagon before he asked her out so they would include the 4 boys, He loved the boys as his own.
He was always there when I needed him, always willing to help.
Loved his laugh. He enjoyed life.  
He and Teen loved each other so much. The love they had for each other was from God. It was a true love story. Now they are strolling all over heaven holding hands and talking with their Lord and Savior.
I will miss talking to him.  See you in heaven.

I had the pleasure of working with Bob for many years at Wagner Equipment Co.  and he was my direct supervisor for the last couple of years prior to his retirement. Bob was a great boss and an all around good person.  He will be missed and the world is a lesser place without him. May the Lord bless and comfort his family and friends. "Blessed are those who mourn. They will be comforted."
