Thomas is survived by his wife, Sonja, Daughter Chrissy Shea Adams, two grandchildren, Bridger Thomas Adams, and Ryley Shea Adams, four sisters, Dixie Appenzeller, Deanna Abney, Sally Bathert, and Susie Castro.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Jerry Shea.
A visitation for Thomas will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Olinger Highland Mortuary, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado. A memorial service will occur Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Olinger Highland Mortuary Chapel, 10201 Grant Street, Thornton, CO.
