The mayhem and revelry at the South Dakota Sturgis Bike Rally will never be the same since the roar of Timothy Wayne Galey was silenced on Sunday, October 9, 2022. Tim began his journey on March 19,1966 in Denver, Colorado. This little baby would go on to touch many lives, enjoy adventures outdoors, explore the American southwest - most often astride his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and was known to commandeer a dance floor or two with Country Swing flair.
Tim’s first years were spent on two acres at the base of the Rocky Mountain foothills way on the outskirts of Morrison, Colorado. This afforded opportunities for long, dusty bike rides and spirited adventures with his older brother and three other young friends living on Simms Street. Life was also shared with a few chickens, ducks, one cow, a horse named Lady, assorted canines, a mom, a dad, the aforementioned brother, and luckily, on the same homefront, his maternal grandparents. Late adolescence brought on a move north-wards to Federal Heights, Colorado.
He grew deep roots in the Federal Heights area and received his diploma from Iver C. Ranum High School in 1984. Tim continued his residence in and around the north Denver metro area. Many people in Denver have Tim to thank for their clear, sharp images and efficient technology provided through his work in the fiber optics and communications field. A welcome transition found him managing the family business, Parkside Mobile Village.
Tim cultivated a strong and loyal extended family who shared countless humorous and outrageous memories amid assorted exploits. He also met Mindy Brown and, together, they began a family, welcoming son Jonathan and daughter Chandra. In addition to his son and daughter, he is survived by granddaughter Riley Swanson, brother Joshua Galey, father Charles Galey, and loving extended family, Salena Dietrich, Dakota Swanson.
Please send all flower orders to 9755 Henderson Rd. Brighton, CO 80601, so they may be present for the Celebration of Life.
