Velma Louise Hatterson Weiss, 92 of Denver, Colorado passed away on September 19, 2016 in Thornton, CO . She was born July 12, 1924 in Eads, Colorado. She loved doing things for Veterans and their families and was a DAV Commander. She loved to travel, which included going Arizona and fishing and hunting with her son Robert. She also enjoyed driving and riding in the dune buggy.
She is survived by her son Robert (Bob) Hatterman, daughter Linda Bunce, siblings Ken Nolting, Maxine Curtis, Eunice Shirley and Opal Timmer. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband George Hatterman and second husband Don Weiss, brother Ivan Nolting, sister Hazel Hable, sister in law Lena Nolting and son in law R.K. Bunce.
