Having known Yolanda since 1967-68, (our first job out of high school working at Occidental Life Insurance downtown Los Angeles) there's certainly going to be a big gap in my life. We've travelled all over, snow skied, shopped together, partied, exerised, danced, laughed, argued & fought like cats, we admired each other's progress in our different careers, shared many same friends, double dated, enjoyed meals together, talked and talked and talked and talked about everything! laughed about so many things, I was maid of honor in your wedding and Rachel B. was Matron of honor, we went to lots of church gatherings where we worshipped, watched old movies, cooked meals, love doggies... oh my! we've done SOOOOO many things together over the years there's no way I can list them all from our lifetime of friendship. I'm so thankful that you got closer to the Lord Jesus since you've moved to Colorado and He lovingly made you a better person. Knowing you are now in heaven with Him gives me peace. R.I.P. my friend Yolanda, you will be greatly missed by me (& Spreckles too). Yolanda I will miss our fellowship in the church, the women’s tea, the cookie exchanges, the retreats in Allenspark, the Sunday services and our gals lunches out.  We enjoyed many a holiday together and shared some great adventures in our love for travel.  We drove to Hollywood to see “ Dancing With the Stars” live, we drove to Coeur D’alene , Idaho, Puerto Vallarta, an amazing cruise in South America, and last but not least our trip to the Holy Land.  I’ll miss those special times we shared.  When the music came on you loved to dance…those were the days my friend.  I’ll see you on the other side…may you dance now in heaven for eternity.

I traveled with Yolanda three times. We worked together in radio. My favorite trip with her was in 2013, to southwestern Colorado. We rode the Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, a spectacular ride to Silverton, and went to Mesa Verde National Park. 
She was a good friend, and I will miss her.  Before Covid, we used to meet for dinner, even long after we no longer worked together.

I am so sad to hear this news.  Yolanda was a good friend and colleague for over 40  years . We were in the same class of Circus Vargas marketing directors and traveled all over the United States working together. She was at my wedding in 1985. She produced Fiesta Broadway in Los Angeles-an event that attracted a million people its first year.  She helped me get a job with CBS  Radio in Los Angeles. I will miss her and send condolences  to family and friends.

I took a trip to Hawaii with Yolanda and her friend in 2008. It was super fun.

I pray for comfort for her husband, Bob, her son, and all of her family. Yolanda had a life filled with love and adventure. She is now in the arms of Jesus!

Please know that I am thinking of you.  May you find strength and peace as Yolanda is smiling down at you and has no more pain.  A loss like this is heartbreaking but please know I am by your side during this time of sorrow.  Remember the good times and special moments you shared as this is never taken away from you.  Memories are everlasting.

Her smile was unmatchable.  Her faith was as strong as any I have ever known.  Her spirit was unstoppable.  She always remembered those in need.  A light in a world of overcast and shadows.  That is how I will remember Yolanda.  I am heartbroken for Bob and the family.  God bless and Rest In Peace.  Laura
