She was born on Nov. 3, 1921 in Sandpoint, ID and attended school in Clarks Fork, ID.
She married Adolph Becker of Howlles, NB, in 1941 and settled in Omaha, NB. They retired and moved to McAllen, TX, where they lived until her husband passed away in 2001. Ione then relocated to Lake Oswego and Tigard, OR.
Ione is survived by her two daughters, Judy McCandless and Carol Brown, 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Rosary will be held at Young’s Funeral Home in Tigard on Wed. May 13 at 6pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Tigard on Thurs. May 14 at 11am.
