Janice was born in Basset, Nebraska and was the youngest of seven children. She graduated from Pasco High School in Pasco, Washington and moved to Portland, where she met and married Larry N. Choruby. Jan and Larry recently celebrated their 53rd wedding anniversary. Jan loved music and dancing, but of all things, she loved her family and grandchildren the most.
She is survived and will be missed by her husband, Larry, her son, Shawn Choruby and his wife Bonnie, grandchildren Nicholas, Anna and Madeline, her son Patrick Choruby and his wife Lori, and grandchildren Kristin, Meghan, Derek, and Brynn, and by her sister Dorothy Arnoti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 2, 2015 in St. Anthony Catholic Church, Tigard, followed by interment in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery
