

Kitty was born November 24, 1934 to Theodore and Johanne Trommels in Eindhoven, Holland. Her family came to America after the War,when she was 22 years old. They traveled by boat for two weeks to the United States. The Trommels family settled in the Garden Home area. The family members did odd jobs to help support their new life in America. When in the United States her romance with Hank Renne continued, he loved her so much he too traveled to the Untied States to join her two years later. Hank and Kitty soon married April 12, 1958. Together settling into their new home to raise a family. They had three boys Gregory, Terry and Richard. Kitty was a very loving and supportive wife and an incredible Mother. She was always a Mom that you could talk to about anything and her sons were everything to her.
Kitty worked hard to become a citizen of the United States which occurred May 26, 1966. She was also very involved with the St. Anthony's Boys Choir, and traveled through out the world with the Choir.
Some of Kitty's hobbies included being involved with the Orchid Society for many years, needle point and honed her skills producing many works of art. These activities kept her and her mind busy while caring for her ailing Mother and Son, Terry. She became a true artist.
Kitty was very proud to be a Oma, she was very excited to witness the birth of two of her grandchildren. She thought this was very cool.
Kitty fought a long battle with Myelodysplasia and passed away peacefully with her family by her side October 14, 2010.
Kitty is survived by her loving spouse of 52 years Hank, two sons Gregory Renne, and Rick (Jennifer) Renne. Three Grandchildren Brittany, Zachary and Briauna, one brother Robert Trommels. As well as many other family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Pete, and her son Terry.Arrangements under the direction of Young's Funeral Home, Tigard, OR.
