I'm so sorry I wasn't there in person to pay my respects.  Larry and the family were in my thoughts and heart and my sympathy and love go out to all of you.  I was remembering how, to me, whenever he smiled he looked like he was up to something.  The pictures on this sight reminded me of that and I appreciate the opportunity to have shared them.

To Larry:
   you were my dads only brother or sister. I know he and all his children will miss you so much. One of my favorite memories is: grandmothers house with  Larry and dads kids together playing in the yard...

Larry you will be truly missed by all that had the pleasure to know you and serve under you in the Oregon Air National Guard. I had the pleasure of working for Larry from 1990 to 1996.

So sorry that Larry has passed. He was my first military supervisor and I worked for him from 1981 through 1990. I fondly remember his sense of humor and am very grateful for his sage tolerance.- (I'm sure I wasn't the easiest troop) He kept me pointed in the right direction when I needed it more than once, allowing me to subsequently make a successful career in Fuels Management. Thank you for being such a positive influence in my life Larry. My deepest condolences and greatest respect.

     My sympathy to your family on Larry's passing.  We remember Larry as a valuable and respected member of the full-time air technician force rising to the rank of senior non-commissioned officer.  You can be proud of his service and dedication in the Oregon Air National Guard where he performed his duty with distinction in a selfless manner in all kinds of weather and always with a smile.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you now.

I will remember my uncle Larry as a sweet man with a warm, friendly smile and sharp wit.  I'm very happy to have had the chance to spend a little time with both Larry and Joyce recently.  My condolences to Joyce, Sherry, Debbie, and the many other close friends and family he leaves behind.  We will all miss you Larry.

Larry, I always appreciated your dry sense of humor, and keen sense of wit.  My thoughts go out to Joyce, Sherry, and Debbie and to all of your extended and immediate family.  You will be missed by them and by the many others whose lives you entered.  God blees you and they.

Larry was one of my dad's favorite nephews. When dad had his heart bypass while in Phoenix,  Larry came to our rescue to help bring the Motor home back to Washington State. There was no question...he was there when we needed him.  I will always remember him for his love of family his wit and humor.

"Larry you are going to be missed.  Steve and I will always remember how Larry and Joyce welcomed us on our many trips through Oregon over the years.  Larry had a wonder sense of himself and sense of humor--I wished we had more time.

I will always remember Larry.  He was my first supervisor after I seperated from the active duty Air force and joined the Air National Guard.  I was a young man then trying to decide what direction in life to take.  I have great respect for Larry and owe him for my successful career in fuels.  I did not give Larry many reasons to think I would succeed, but he saw something in me that at the time I did not see in myself.  For that, and the things he did for me, I will always remember him.
