

Myrna Vidal Lucas passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, in Portland, Oregon, surrounded by the love and comfort of her family. She was 74 years old.
Born on January 28, 1951, in Mapandan, Pangasinan, Philippines, Myrna was the cherished daughter of Pedro and Maxima Vidal. She was one of seven siblings and is survived by her beloved brother Elmo. She is preceded in death by siblings Mimi, Perla, Belong, Lita, and Rebecca.
Myrna’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Lucas, devoted daughter Julianne DiGennaro, her son-in-law Chad, and her beloved granddaughter Adriana, who brought endless light to her life.
Myrna will be remembered most for her humility, her deep generosity, and her unwavering faith. She had a laugh that was as unforgettable as it was infectious—capable of lighting up an entire room. Her warm spirit and quiet strength touched all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A lover of beauty in the simple things, Myrna found joy in tending her garden, where she and Jose grew both flowers and fresh produce with care and pride.
Myrna’s legacy of kindness, devotion, and grace will live on in those she loved. She will be deeply missed, and forever remembered.
A public viewing and rosary will be held on Saturday, July 19th from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Young’s Funeral Home in Tigard. The rosary prayer will begin at 3:00 p.m.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, July 26th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Tigard with a light reception to follow.
