Patricia Esther Louise Ann Hanagan, age 69, of Portland Oregon, passed away on October 1, 2022, after succumbing to complications of long-term Lyme disease. She is survived by 4 brothers and 1 sister.
Patricia, also known as “Tricia” and “Patty”, was born in Washington, D.C. to parents Mary Jane and Wm. Donald Hanagan. She grew up in Mount Vernon, Illinois, where she performed in many plays and musicals and worked in radio. Tricia completed her undergraduate degree in Journalism and TV Production at Marquette University ‘75. She went on to complete her Masters in Journalism at Boston University.
In 1989, after working in TV production in Bakersfield, CA, Tricia moved to Portland Oregon where she worked for the United Way. She enjoyed singing, playing guitar, and participating in “folk song circles”. She enjoyed the natural beauty of Oregon beaches, waterfalls, and Mt. Hood.
