He was born in Hitchcock, Texas on January 15, 1931. Robert graduated from Ball High School in Galveston, Texas and received a degree in Business Administration from Portland State University.
He was married to Anna Marie Castro on June 12, 1950.
Robert had a career in the United States Air Force for 25 years and the United States Postal Service for 20 years.
He had a passion for sports and especially a love for the Dallas Cowboys. He also loved to spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by Robert Castro Jr., Ray (Nancy) Castro, Robin (John Halseth) Castro, Tracy Casqueiro, Roger Castro, and eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 9:30am, October 28, 2017, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
