

Roy Orlando Bauserman was born in St. Helens, Oregon on July 8, 1917.He passed away in Tigard, on January 11, 2011. Roy’s parents were Roy Albro Bauserman and Jean Marie (Reid) Bauserman. He graduated from Rainier High School and then attended Pacific University in Forest Grove. After college Roy married Velma Eunice Jewell on November 8, 1941 in Portland. He served in the Army, in World War II; he was stationed in the Philippines. Roy worked for both the Oil Filter Service and Willamette Sales, which were companies involved in the Trucking Industry. He later co-owned the Willamette Sales company. He was an avid golfer for many years. Roy was predeceased by his wife, Eunice, parents, his siblings, Owen Bauserman, Earl Bauserman and Jean Hunsaker, as well as his daughter, Roiann van Schaik. He is survived by his daughters, Julie Cooper, Kathie (Bob) Harrison and Sally (Tom) Lowrey, grandchildren, Derick Cooper, Shelley Hanel, Heidi Karussos, Jeff Harrison, Tracey Harrison, Kirsten Harrison, Brandon Armitage, Aaron Armitage and Jarad van Schaik. He is also survived by great grandchildren, Emma Cooper, Kylee Hanel, Caelyn Hanel, Madeline Harrison, Kellie Harrison and Liam Armitage. The family would like to acknowledge a close friend, Jerry Kerns, who was like the son that Roy never had. There are no services planned at this time.
