Stella Shotts, 91, of Beaverton, Oregon, entered into the presence of her Lord on September 20, 2023. The second of three siblings, Stella was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia, in 1932 to Dr. William H. and Mary E. Riheldaffer.
Possessing a deep passion for people and a tremendous sense of humor, Stella was loved by all who knew her and eagerly welcomed by those who didn’t. Neighbors knew her to be fun and engaging, acquaintances always felt her sincere warmth, and strangers became immediate friends as Stella drew them in with her humor, charm, and huge heart.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald Lewis Shotts of Oregon, and her brother, William H. Riheldaffer, Jr. of Chattanooga, Tennessee. The immediate family will gather at a later date to celebrate and remember Stella’s life and legacy.
