

Warren James Sweeney, 69, of Seaside, Oregon, passed away on July 24, 2023, in Portland, Oregon. He was born on August 31, 1953, in Seaside. Warren was a very patriotic and proud individual, known for his strong sense of loyalty and dedication.
Warren had a distinguished military career, serving honorably in the United States Navy on the USS Downes as an electrical repairman. His commitment to duty and exceptional service earned him the National Defense Service Medal. Warren was a true patriot who proudly defended his country.
After his military service, Warren embarked on a successful career as a skilled carpenter at his brother Michael's construction company. He was highly regarded for his craftsmanship and attention to detail. Warren's dedication and expertise made him an invaluable member of the team.
In his free time, Warren indulged in his passion for being a handyman. He possessed a natural talent for fixing things and enjoyed putting his skills to use. Additionally, he found solace in fishing and hunting, finding peace and serenity in nature. Warren was also an active member of the American Legion, where he found camaraderie and a sense of community.
Warren will be deeply missed by his surviving siblings, Dennis (Marlene), Michael (Heather), and Colleen. He was preceded in death by his brothers Patrick and Frank. Warren's memory and legacy will live on through the love and memories shared by his family and friends.
A committal with Military Honors will be held at a later date to honor Warren's service to his country. This ceremony will pay tribute to his contributions and sacrifices.
