On behalf of CHADD (Children and Adults with ADHD), we are incredibly grateful for Barbara's many years of volunteer service to our community, including serving a term as the President of CHADD. We extend our sincere condolences to all her family, friends, and colleagues within the CHADD community.

Memory:   In our early years of marriage we had two daughters at this time.  Barbara, Susan, Carol, and Charlie took us to this quality restaurant with AMAZING local blue crab cakes, lots of laughter and great strong family time together.   Barbara, full of laughter, full of love for children, grandchildren, the family at large, and people.

My favorite memory of Barbara was when she had graduated from high school and was checking out college in anticipation of going into art education. She came to Dayton to stay with my family and check out The Art Institute there. I remember looking up to her as being so mature, so young, so beautiful with great anticipation of her future. She had such a distinctive and joyful personality and laughter.  It still rings in my ears today.

Wrapping up another wonderful WVa mountain week with Barbara & friends.

When not making jewelry or chocolate during our WVa mountain retreat weeks each winter, Barbara and all of us enjoyed cooking gourmet meals together (ok, with a touch of wine).

Such good times in the WVa mountains for so many years, with Barbara and artist friends from Frederick & Baltimore MD.

Obviously, Barbara also helped decorate our car on our wedding day. 😂❤️

Brenda and I remember Barbara’s smile and infectious laughter when we were together at family reunions.  She would start laughing and more times than not everyone else would join in.  Especially when Anne and Katherine got stuck in the ladies room during the first reunion in Virginia....I thought Barbara would fall over laughing!!!  Those are special moments we’ll always cherish. Our heart goes out to you and your family in this time of sorrow.  Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers, and we trust that Lord Jesus will guide and support you and the family through this difficult time.

Barbara will be missed. She was a very kind and caring person. After our graduation from MSA, I recall meeting up with her at various events that she hosted or presided over for CHADD. I still have some of the items that I purchased at CHADD auctions.  She was always friendly and cheerful at our MSA reunions. Charlie was always with her and he was definitely a part of our MSA class of ‘70 family. My condolences, thoughts, and prayers are extended to Charlie, their daughter and the rest of the family.
