Beverly Ruth Mier was born on July 12, 1924 in Lynhurst, NJ. She is survived by her husband, Jack, whom she married in 1944; their four children John, Jr., Donald, Beverly Jean (Gill), and Paul; cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren and twenty–two great grandchildren.
During WWII, Bendix Corporation employed her in their Metallurgical Laboratory in Teterboro, New Jersey. After her children entered college, Beverly volunteered her time in Kent County Hospital Laboratory in Rhode Island and when she moved to Maryland she volunteered at GBMC for 20 years. In her final years and residence at Mercy Ridge she also was an active volunteer.
A Memorial service will be celebrated at Mercy Ridge Retirement Community, 2525 Pot Spring Road, Timonium, MD 21093 on Saturday, February 24 at 11 am. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed in Mrs. Mier’s memory to the Mercy Ridge Employee Appreciation Fund, 2525 Pot Spring Road, Timonium, MD 21093.
