On September 24, 2011 ELIZABETH A. "Betty" PARKS (nee Ayd); devoted wife of the late John W. "Jack" Parks; dear sister of John J. Ayd, Sr.; loving sister-in-law of Janet Parks Schaefer and Helen Lindlaw Ayd; also survived by a large and loving group of nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Betty served diligently and faithfully during a 40-year career as a registered nurse at Mercy Hospital and Carroll County Public Health.
The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Thursday, 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the funeral home on Friday, September 30. Due notice of time will be given. Interment Jessops Cemetery, Sparks. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed in Betty's memory to Our Daily Bread Program of Catholic Charties of Baltimore and/or Mercy Medical Center.
