James Clayton Sherwood of Cockeysville, MD passed peacefully on January 16, 2025 surrounded by his family; Jim was the beloved husband of Veronica C. Sherwood for 52 years; devoted father of Kevin E. Sherwood and Daniel C. Sherwood; father-in-law of Meghan Sherwood; dear brother of David J. Sherwood and his wife Lisa; cherished grandfather of Will, Grace, and Caroline; brother-in-law of Fran Maciarello and her husband John; also survived by numerous aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley, Inc. 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, Maryland 21093 on Monday, February 3, 2025 beginning at 10AM followed immediately by a celebration of Jim’s life at 11AM. Interment private.
