James "Murt" Joseph Stack passed on May 19, 2026, at the age of 84; he was the beloved husband of Gail Stack (nee Weaver), and is survived by his loving sons David Richard Stack and his wife Treva and Michael Mark Stack and his wife Michelle and adored by his grandchildren Davis, Hannah, and Sydney Stack. Also survived by sister-in-law Carole Bell and her husband Hap. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Murt is preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Richard and Evelyn Anna Stack and his dear brother, Joseph Richard (Dick) Stack and his wife Emily.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley Inc, 10 W. Padonia Road, Timonium on Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cockeysville at 11 am.
