On March 27th, 2026, surrounded by family, JoAnn G. Sergi passed away peacefully. JoAnn was born in Baltimore, Maryland on April 19th, 1939 to Steuart John Gisriel and Elizabeth Johanna Whitestone. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Louis John Sergi. JoAnn was survived by her two daughters, Jennifer L. Hauss and her husband, Jon, and Rebecca E. Sergi and her partner, Ralph Jones. She was predeceased by her son, Louis J. Sergi Jr., and survived by her daughter-in-law, Mary Jo Sergi. JoAnn is also survived by her brother, Michael S. Gisriel and his wife Sheila. She was a proud grandmother, known as JoJo, to Morgan Vickers (Zach), Jack Sergi (Ciara), Lauren Sergi, Brian Sergi, and Jon Henry Hauss, and great-grandmother to Brooke Sergi, Blake Vickers, and Gavin Vickers.
JoAnn enjoyed spending time with family and friends in Ocean City, Maryland. In addition to creating scrapbooks for her children and grandchildren, she was known to be a great cook and excellent hostess.
Family and friends are welcome to celebrate JoAnn’s life on Saturday, April 11th from 2:00pm -4:00pm at Lemmon Funeral Home of Dulaney Valley.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in JoAnn’s memory to the American Heart Association.
