On June 1, 2015 MARGUERITE TALBOT KEATING, born May 5, 1921 in Franklin, Louisiana. Marguerite graduated from St. Johns Academy in 1940 and from the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, LA in 1943 (SLI) South Western Louisiana Institute. Marguerite taught in the states of Texas, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Michigan and Florida. Marguerite was a member for life of NJEA, NEA, NJR and a member for life of the New Jersey Retired Education Association, The New Jersey Education Association and The National Education Association - Retired. Marguerite belonged to Alpha Sigma Alpha National Sorority in Lafayette, LA, University Louisiana and Lafayette Alumni Association; beloved wife of the late John William Keating; loving mother Dr. Kathleen Keating Brown and her husband Tom, both of Wake Forest, NC and Michael L. Keating and his wife Sally, both of Nottingham, MD; cherished grandmother of Talbot J. Keating.
