

On February 5, 2015, Patricia M. “Pat” Ash, 72, died suddenly in her home. She was born in Boston, Massachusetts on October 1, 1942 to Gertrude and John McAuliffe. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother John McAuliffe and her sister Elaine Assaf.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert “Bob” Ash, daughter Laurie Donahoo and her husband James, son Keith Ash and his wife Katherine, brother Thomas McAuliffe and his wife Patricia and two Grand Daughters Kinsey Ash and Kiersten Ash.
Pat graduated from the Boston City Hospital School of Nursing in 1964 and became a Registered Nurse (RN). After her marriage to Bob in 1965, she worked at Greater Baltimore Medical Center as an RN for 25 years and retired in June 2002. She was named GBMC Nurse of the Year and The Outstanding Nurse of the Year by District 2 Maryland Nurses Association in 2002.
In recent years she has volunteered for the American Red Cross on their Disaster Action Team, Hospice in Maryland and her church.
A memorial service will be held at the Church of the Holy Comforter, 130 W. Seminary Avenue on Monday February 16th at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Assistance Center of Towson Churches (ACTC) in Towson, Maryland or the Church of the Holy Comforter in her memory.
