Sandra Walsh

Born and raised in Northwest Indiana, Sandra got a degree in Nursing from Indiana University School of Nursing in the late 1970s. She spent several years working as a Neonatal Intensive Care RN in the Chicago area, before settling in Baltimore and working with various nursing care agencies, providing at-home care of chronically ill infants.

She adored babies, and doted on her patients in the manner she treated her own children; that is, with extreme passion, empathy, and meticulous care.

She is survived by her husband, Brian, of Timonium, daughter Elizabeth and her husband Greg Storms of Baltimore, daughter Julia, of Timonium, brother Robert Misner and his wife Diane of Portage, Indiana and their three children, Scott, Melissa, and Brett, and sister Lisa and her husband Joe Skozen, who live in Arizona.

The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Tuesday, 7-9pm. A Celebration of Sandra's life will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, March 25 at 11am. Interment Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
