European road trip. This was a stop in Monte Carlo during the Grand Prix. We didn't plan on being there during the race but that's how things worked when you just wing it! 

What a great trip and a great guy to do it with!

It was a privilege and a pleasure to know and work with Todd. Super nice guy, consummate gentleman, and a gifted leader. His ever calm and upbeat approach kept us all on track through ups and downs on the Shadow program. He will be sorely missed. Heartfelt condolences to Julie and the family. 

Thinking of my old classmate Todd, one of the really great people I met at USMA; I’m guessing he was called early because they needed a new greeter on the team at the Pearly Gates. Salute, old friend!

I am a bit older than Todd.  We were offspring in an extended family who were homesteaders In the Fairfield, Wa. farming community.  I have known him since he was a toddler. In fact, I used to babysit for him. He was a happy, good natured child.  Everyone loved him.  Everyone was proud when he went off to West Point.
I attended his and Julie’s wedding.  I remember his mom, Betty, walking down the isle alone because Todd’s father, Orland, had just passed away.  His father was a respected man in Fairfied; a charismatic community leader, successful farmer and businessman.  Todd was much like him.
Although I haven’t seen Todd in several years, I still feel connected to him and his family.  God blessed him and his family and everyone whose life he touched.  I am his cousin, Ellen Chisholm.



Val and I are deeply saddened by this news.  We send our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Julie, their children and grandchildren, and Todd's extended family.  This is a tremendous loss.

Serving under Todd for my first assignment was a privilege and a blessing.  He was such a terrific leader, mentor and friend to both Val and me.  Unfortunately, our time together was brief but Todd imparted his confidence and special style through his caring support and actions.  It made a profound impact that remains today.  He was also a tenacious competitor but challenging himself, interacting and lifting up others always seemed to outweigh winning. 

Todd's broad smile will surely be missed but his bright light will continue to shine in everyone he touched, especially in Julie, their children, and their grandchildren.

Rest in peace dear friend.  Your work here is done.

Kris and I send our heartfelt condolences on the passing of our friend and classmate.  Todd was one of a kind!  Always upbeat and positive.  Always encouraging others (by example) to live life to the fullest and to not take ourselves too seriously.  We enjoyed seeing him and talking grandkids at Elliot Benson's memorial service.  We could tell that he loved his family.  He will be missed.  We are unable to attend the services but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all as you go through this sad time.

I had the joy of working under Todd and learned his job as an intern.  From day one, he was always my biggest supporter. I remember being nervous about leading my first meeting, but he was in my corner cheering me on. I knew I could reach out to him if I had questions or just needed a laugh. Todd was so patient and became a mentor to me. If I knew anything, it was that he had tremendous love for his family. I am deeply saddened by this loss, and wish I could have worked alongside him some more. I will cherish the moments we had working together. Sending thoughts and prayers to you all.

Amazing the lives you touch. Unbeknownst to you - we thoroughly enjoyed being your neighbor and watching your proud celebrations of every milestone hit or holiday decorated. Todd was a great classmate who never had a bad day. His spirit and attitude was the glue that kept us all together.  A true West Pointer.

My husband Rob is a classmate of Todd's. We were dating throughout his cadet years. I met Todd during their plebe year when they were allowed to have visitors. It was a very snowy weekend. I flew up from Southwest Georgia - I had purchased boots, long wool coat, gloves etc. I was dumbfounded that the snow was deeper than my knee high boots. He teased me a lot about my complaints.  Later, Rob &Todd came down to the Washington DC area where my family had moved. Todd was always such a fun guy. He was a great guest and tolerated my tours of the DC sights and the Smithsonian Museums. We will always have fond memories of Todd.

Worked with Todd for many years.  He was instrumental in winning and executing AAI's world class Performance Based Logistics scope on the Shadow UAV program. As a fellow member of Todd's West Point class of 1980, we are all saddened to hear about his passing.  Todd was one of those kind, upstanding men with such an electrifying smile and someone you enjoyed collaborating with on any project, no matter how daunting or large.  A true professional who exemplified our class motto of "PRIDE and EXCELLENCE," he always opted for the "harder right."  A solid guy, he will be sorely missed.  Gone too early; rest in peace.
