

William Patrick David Jeffreys, a bright and compassionate soul, passed away on March 23, 2025, at the age of 26, after a seven month battle with lymphoma. Will was born on 07/28/1998 and raised in Parkton, Maryland. He was a cherished member of the community. He was homeschooled until he attended Calvert Hall College High School ’17. From a young age, Will had a curiosity for anything science, he was an avid tennis player since the age of five, as well as saxophone, piano, and guitar player. Will went on to attend Gordon College ’21 in Wenham, MA, studying biology and chemistry. He played NCAA DIII tennis as well as saxophone in the college band. His senior year he was captain of the tennis team and awarded scholar athlete of the year for his conference. Will devoted many years of his life researching a cure for muscular dystrophy at the Kass Lab at Johns Hopkins. He was a named author on several published studies regarding his lab experiments. Right before his diagnosis, Will was attending the University of Maryland School of Medicine ’28 with the goal of pursuing cardiology. Aside from his brilliant medical and scientific mind, he was a devoted Christ-follower and served his community at Hunt Valley Church for over a decade as well as a volunteer at Helping Up Mission. Will’s passion for service, humor, and love for God will live on through his surviving relatives and many friends. He is survived by his sister Katherine Jeffreys, mother Patricia Jeffreys, and father Dr. Ronald Jeffreys, as well as his paternal grandfather Dr. Shep Jeffreys, and maternal grandmother, Felicia Twigg.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 at 11:00 am in Hunt Valley Church, 13015 Beaver Dam Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030. Interment is private.
