William and I worked together for 5 years. Over the last 2 years or so, we talked almost everyday. He was always so insightful on pretty much any topic and genuinely cared. He would ask me questions about recovery because he really wanted to learn. Even when work got slow he showed up every single day no matter what. It was an honor to get to know him over the last few years and I am grateful to have had the time we did. William pushed me to do what was best for me and he will continue to inspire me! I won’t forget the times we shared.

Courtney- I met you once at ACAC but William spoke of you often, how hard you worked and how challenging is to be a teacher.

Morgan- I spoke to your father often at the gym and he always had something to add about some accomplishment of yours, a paper you wrote that he was so proud of or we spoke about your future and how much you had to offer the world. He was so very proud of you.

What a lovely and wonderful nephew, Willie was. It's so hard to believe that you are no longer here with us. Just this March, we were talking, laughing, going down memory lane at your uncle Wilson's funeral; and now, you're at home with the rest of the family. We will miss that wonderful and bright smile of yours, your laughter, and wonderful conversations. As we know, we all have a time limit and do not know when it will come; but this caught us all by surprise and so unexpectedly. The family has loss so many in the last 3 years, and now you! You will forever be loved, remembered, and missed. Love Aunt Dot and The Bowie family

Our friendship began with small group of us doing the pool & bars all summer (lotta laughs) but then I got to know William better & we would share our past ups & downs. He always made sure all got home safe & sound! Fast forward to he & my Pittsburgh girl meeting where he then became “coach Tomlin” lol he was a beloved Steeler fan member w all us crazy’s at TCs. Even with his multiple hip surgeries he kept that smile that warmed your heart all the time. I was blessed to be at their quaint wedding & that smile of his with his beautiful wife eluded ❤️ & happiness like no other. I know that he will continue to watch all his loved ones from above for now & forever & his memory & essence will never die.... God Bless our William, you have been taken from us too soon. 😇😘❤️
