William (Bill) D. Hauck, born November 7, 1933 in Passaic, New Jersey has gone home to Heaven on May 3, 2021. Bill grew up in the Towson area, attending Towson Presbyterian Church most of his life, graduating from Towson High School in 1951 and from the University of Maryland (Sigma Nu) in 1956 when he was immediately drafted into the Army. After serving in the Army for two years he went on to work at Bendix in Towson for ten years and then Maryland Aviation Administration at BWI Airport for thirty years, retiring January 1, 2001.
Bill enjoyed several Cycle Across Maryland tours and being a member of the Greater Jacksonville Optimist Club. He had a robust zest for life and for getting to know so many wonderful people. While living in Harford County, Bill loved attending Ayres Chapel and Norrisville United Methodist Churches especially most recently with three generations of his family.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, sister Betty Ann Foell, three children, Karen, Carol and Bill, their spouses and six grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends in the LEMMON FUNERAL HOME OF DULANEY VALLEY INC., 10 W. Padonia Road (at York Road) Timonium, MD 21093 on Friday, May 14, 9:30-11am with the Celebration of William’s life beginning at 11am and will be Live Streamed on the Lemmon Funeral Home FaceBook page.
Only 50 people, seated socially distanced, will be allowed in the room for the service.
Interment Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens.
