Dearest Garcelon Family ,
 So very sorry to just be hearing of Xanthi’s  passing. What a  beautiful woman inside  and out and so full of life and love ! She welcomed everyone with a smile and warm embrace and filled a room! Celebrate her and cherish the memories! Her family and grandchildren were everything to her and she talked about you all the time. She will continue to live on through all of you.

My deepest condolences to the family.  Xanthi was a wonderful soul who'll be missed.  I had the pleasure of working with her at both Millennium Chemicals and then at JHU.

I have worked with Chris Garcelon for over 12 years and he always talks about his mom with complete love and humor… May she rest in peace!

With my warmest condolence to the family, for a loving memory of Zanthi.  I remember everyone at work saying, if you want something done, "Go to Zanthi" she was a powerhouse of energy and could run circles around you.  Yet she had the most heartfelt demeanor that was caring and giving.

Sandy and I became instant friends over 66 yrs. ago when we entered Golden Ring Jr. H.S .  Through all these years we remained close, sharing milestones with our families: weddings, birthdays, etc .  We even arranged a date night for our children ( assuring we would be family forever).  We were disappointed our plan hadn't provided the outcome we hoped . That wasn't the first time Sandy's great idea flopped. At one point she had me date her cousin; again no success! Nevertheless, we were sisters. I was fortunate to have seen her a couple of times over her final years (I live in Delaware), and am so thankful I could make the trip to spend time with my friend.
I feel so blessed to have known this incredible, loving woman and will truly miss my friend. ❤️Rita

So sorry for your loss.  I never knew Ms. Sandy, but thru the many stories being told from my mom (Rita) I  feel like I knew her. They had a lot of crazy and  exciting times together. Sounds like she was a  wonderful person and loved by all. RIP Ms. Sandy.

I had the privilege to meet Xanthi many moons ago through work and we immediately connected. I was going through a bad divorce and she was a genuine shining star support to me. Later she, and Bud, and Stella kind of "adopted" me in their family and as an immigrant at the time, it was like connecting to my own family. I have so many wonderful memories about her and her family: BBQ, Xmas, pool, the kids, Chris and Peter, their wives Adele and Anne, and Chandler actually the one I honestly remember the most. I feel like I betrayed them when I was concerned about Xanthi's health that honestly I could not emotionally handle it and ran out the door to never return. It is on me. The only thing I can do is apologize for what I have done, not in a malicious intention but out of care and love. However, even to me, an apology is and will never be enough. I always loved her and I can't even wrap around the idea that she is gone. Garcelon family, you are strong and you got it from her, Bud, Stella and all the other family members. I know you are going to keep up the good work. I know how hard and fresh the loss is. RIP my friend

To the Garcelon Family -  We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear friend of so many years.   We shared so many good times and wonderful memories.  
Her love and laughter will be missed but will always be with us. 
Xanthi is in Heaven with Bud and Stella where every hour is a  Happy Hour. We will hopefully meet again,  dear friend.

Sandy,  always welcomed me with open arms.   I got a chance to spend time with her prior to moving to Florida . I cherish that time we spent together.  Fondest memory ;  Growing  up we knew Sandy  was someone special, because our dad was always excited to see her whenever  she visited.   I know we drove her crazy (Sandy always complied) as young children begging her to speak to us mimicking Donald Duck voice.  Sandy was too funny.  I will miss her . Ross
