Dave & Linda, so sorry to hear about your mother, I have so many fond memories of your mother and your father. Always loved going to your house as a child and seeing all the fun places you all visited and of course always loved getting a haircut from your father! Your mother was always willing to offer my brother and I a treat if we were running up and down the street, which happened all the time! Glad I got an opportunity to know your parents growing up!

Dear Foley Family - Sorry we couldn't be in Toledo this week to celebrate Aunt Lily's life with all of you.   I have good memories of Aunt Lil and Uncle Dallas when they would come over to Grandma and Papa's house to visit.  Aunt Lil and all of you are in our thoughts and our prayers.

Although out of touch for many years, I still have fond thoughts of my time with the Foley Family -- Linda, Dave, uncle Dallas and aunt Lil. All of those touched by aunt Lil during the 90 years spent on earth have been blessed by her presence. My condolences go to Linda, Dave and their families.

Linda and I know there is really nothing that can be said but that we are thinking about you and Ron. Our thought are with you.

Aunt Lil:
  Never pretentious-never without an opinion - never afraid to ask you how you feel or how she felt about something. That's what made her stand out! If she gave you the business,the more you gave it back -the more it endeared you to her-especially with kids-she would put on her stern face then look away and laugh. She was like a growling Kitty Cat. A woman with an absolute heart of gold,who was very,very proud of her kids and grand kids without being boastful! Although she did brag about my cooking. Her and aunt Ginny were a staple at my kitchen table- if it was corned beef and cabbage you had to give her a side of vinegar-if it was turkey you had to save her the part that went over the fence last! We always laughed and teased her about that! She never came through my door empty handed be it a plant or candy in a dish that corresponded with the holiday  she was always thankful to be included.
   I feel privileged to have known her. We loved her and will always remember her sweet orneriness.
