I always wondered where Dr. WALDEN was so I looked here. I owe my life to him. I loved him so much as a medical professional. His modalities in psychiatry was awesome. He new me and issues in my life, he talked me through a terrible crisis. I'll continue to always hold him in my heart.

I was so sorry to hear about Doc Walden.  I have so many fond memories of him, especially tending the roses next door. I thank him for my love of roses to this day and often have thought of him when tending to mine. He was such a kind man and wonderful neighbor while I was growing up. My heart goes out to the entire Walden family, and please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless!

I'm Faye.  I live in the yellow house on the corner and have the small white dog.  I noticed the funeral lineup this morning and followed up online.  After reading the obituary of your husband, I was grateful to learn that he devoted a great deal of his career to mental illness.  My daughter suffers with that disease and I was glad to learn of his significant contributions in this field.  I extend my sincere sympathy.

   You all have my deepest and heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Dr. Bob.  I have very fond memories of him growing up at First Congregational Church.  He always seemed to have a smile on his face and a nice warm handshake for me and always reached out to me whenever I came home from college or to visit Mom and Dad.  I pray for God to hold you close during this time of loss.  Rest well, Dr.Walden, you deserve it!

My sincere condolences to the family. It was my privilege to have been mentored by Dr. Walden. His legacy will live on in those he tutored as well as the works he has accomplished.

My condolences to the Walden family...I did not have the honor of meeting Dr. Robert Walden Sr., but after reading his very impressive legacy he represented the " High Road " that all of us should emulate to follow...Robert Walden Jr. ( his son ) is a fellow fraternity brother of the Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity ( Beta Xi chapter ) who followed in the foot steps of his notable father in joining this organization, it will be hard to fill the foot steps of this great man, but he left this world a better place...so Bro Walden SR...go claim your reward...GOD BLESS

Dear Walden family,

Bob was a true gentleman, scholar, accomplished clinician and a steady hand on the tiller of our inpatient psychiatry unit at MCO Hospital.  I feel honored to say that I served with him on the MCO faculty.  He was a real asset to our school and to our department. I will miss him.

Dearest family of Dr. Walden, my heartfelt condolence is extended to you at this difficult time in your life. I will be eternally grateful for the wisdom and guidance Dr. Walden provided over the years. He was truly a powerful mentor. His kind and gentle manner was evidence of his respect for individual growth and development. He was inclined to laugh at the most difficult transitions professionally which made me remember my purpose which was to not take myself too seriously and to always to extend my "hand" to help in the healing of the broken hearted amd down trodden. He was a servant to humnity.
