It is with great sadness that the family of Beatrice Foster-Smith announces her passing on Sunday, October 7, 2018 at the age of 76. Beatrice was born to Luther and Annie Foster on February 16th, 1942.
Beatrice has two brothers, Larry Foster (Marilyn), Luther Foster and one sister, Barbara Ann Foster. Beatrice grew up in Ajo, AZ and graduated from Ajo High School in 1960. After high school, Beatrice met Granvil Smith in 1961 and married. Beatrice and Granvil started a family and had six children, Granvil Jr Smith, Marvin Smith, Tina Smith, Eugena Smith, Ronnie Smith (Kimberly) and Taneka Smith. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Beatrice is preceded in death by her mother and father, brother Luther, son Marvin and sister Barbara Ann.
Funeral Services in memory of Beatrice will be held on Thursday, October 25th, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Crystal Rose Chapel located at 9155 W Van Buren Street, Tolleson, Arizona 85353. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery 719 N 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009. Reception to follow at Beatrice's home at 4208 S 76th Lane, Phoenix, AZ 85043.
