David Pompa Rivera, age 81, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018. He was born on January 8, 1937 in Phoenix, AZ to Ramon and Lucia Rivera. David married longtime friend, Dorothy Betty Padilla in 1959 and raised 4 children Debbie, Teresa, David and Danny.
In 1998, David retired from the City of Phoenix after 30+ years of service. He is predeceased by his parents and son Danny. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, brothers Ramon, Ernest, Henry, sisters Olga, Rachel, Rose, Anna, children Debbie Rivera, Teresa (Louie) Moncibaez and David (Ana) Rivera, and numerous grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday, 12/27/18 at the Serenity Chapel, located inside Greenwood Lawn and Memorial Cemetery, located at 719 N. 27th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009. Rosary will be held at 9:30am and Memorial Service at 10am. Interment will take place Greenwood Lawn and Memorial Cemetery at 11:30am.
