
Angela H. Falcetta of Bluffton, SC., formerly of Toms River, NJ, beloved wife of Frank Falcetta for 50 years, died peacefully on March 4, 2012 after a 25 year battle as a stroke survivor. She is survived by her two children Mary Dortenzio and her husband Robert of Fairfield, CT., Francine Ciavolino and her husband Michael of Bluffton, SC.. She is also survived by her sister Gloria Griffith of Robbinsville, NJ and her four grandchildren , Gabrielle, Michelle, Mia and Grace .
She was a graduate of New York University . She started her career as a clothing designer for Pauline Travalla ,in New York City, and when she started her family became a teacher of Family and Consumer Science for the Jackson School District for 17 years. She was a member of the J.T.A, the OCRA, NJEA and NEA.
In the words of her family and friends, Angela had the most amazing gift of communication, she listened to everyone and she was loved for her empathetic spirit. Always with an open heart and mind, she loved cooking, traveling and befriending people, fun loving and playful, Angela loved to laugh, dance, and entertain friends. She had a strong faith in God and believed in the essential goodness of the world. Angela was the most beautiful, loving and courageous soul to have blessed our lives. We love you Godmother for always and beyond forever.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012, from 6 to 9 p.m. and Friday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church in Toms River. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Toms River.
