Barbara E. Ross, age 97, of Manchester Township, NJ, formerly of Ocean Grove, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2025. Born in Newark, NJ, Barbara resided in Irvington, Ocean Grove and Holiday Heights in Berkeley Twp. before moving to the Whiting section of Manchester Twp.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband Albert C. Ross in 1999 and her brother William Spicer in 2007. She is survived by her daughter Laura Thatcher of Toms River and her son Ronald Ross (Frederick) of Booth Bay, ME. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. Barbara will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. A memorial service to celebrate Barbara's life will take place Saturday, June 21, 2025 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Toms River, 129 Chestnut St., Toms River, NJ 08753.
In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Memorial Fund at the First United Methodist Church of Toms River.
