Brian Michael McGrath

Brian Michael McGrath, 41, of Toms River, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lakewood, he was a lifelong resident of Toms River. Brian’s professional career was in sales for many years. He was very proud to achieve rank of Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 1 of Toms River. Brian was a man of great faith who was an active member of New Beginnings Christian Church in Brick. For the past ten years he volunteered for numerous projects at church, including the Food Pantry, Outreach for Teens and Homeless Clothing Drive. Brian treasured spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 10 years, Gina (O’Brien) McGrath; his cherished children Joshua and Brianna; his mother Patricia McGrath of Toms River; two sisters Heather Adrion and her husband Bob of Beachwood and Debbie McKenna and her husband Michael of Pine Beach; brother Garry McGrath and his wife Brenda of Virginia; many nieces and nephews including Justin and Derek Madrigal; his mother-in-law Rachel Cerasi of Hammonton; and sisters-in-law Stacy and Michelle Rumaker.

Please come join us for a Celebration of Brian’s life at a Memorial service to be held on Tuesday, May 6th at New Beginnings Christian Church 236 Brick Blvd. Brick. NJ

From 6 to 7 pm there will be a Memorial Visitation, during this time Gina will be receiving family and friends and at 7 pm the Memorial Service will begin. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th from 11:00 am with a brief funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St., Toms River. Burial will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
