Donna L. Valentin

Donna L. Valentin, 63, of Toms River, passed away on May 28, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in North Brunswick. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, she lived Metuchen, moving to Ocean County many years ago. Donna loved spending time with her family, especially her cherished grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and loved tending to her beautiful flowers. Donna had a great sense of humor, a quick whitt and also loved singing. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was predeceased by her father John Kalinowski in 2002, her mother Rhoda Kalinowski in 2016, son Ian in 2021, her sisters Rhoda Jean Madsen in 2023, Kim Hassett in 2021; her niece Amber Hassett in 2024, her nephew James Madsen in 2008 and her grandson Derek Groom in 2015.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years Ed Valentin; her sons Kris Valentin (Maureen) and Taylor Valentin (Zowie); her sisters Gerri Kalinowski, Karen Klimkowski and June Gallart (Ronnie); her grandchildren Kris Jr., Jason, Hailey, Jonathan and Liam. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 2:00 to 6:00 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. Cremation will be private.
