Doris M. (Lamb) Terry , 89, of Lakewood, NJ, formerly of Summit, NJ passed away on June 22, 2016. Doris was a school nurse with the Irvington School District for 27 years. She was a graduate of Overlook Hospital School of Nursing and received her BSN from Jersey City State University.
Born in Newark, NJ, Doris was married to the late C. Robert Terry for 47 years. Surviving are daughters Barbara Sage and her husband Clark of Delaware, and Deborah Crowell and her husband Gary of Pine Beach, NJ, and sons Richard and his wife Eleanor of North Carolina, and Scott and his wife Diane of Summit, NJ. She is the grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 6.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, 1070 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753.
