Dorothy Hindle

Dorothy was born on December 3, 1944 to Joseph and Regina Bak in Bayonne, NJ.  She married her childhood sweetheart, Richard Hindle on April 24, 1965 and went on to have 2 children, Jill Fisher from Toms River, NJ and Michael Hindle from San Diego, CA.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, Richard Hindle.  She is survived by her daughter Jill Fisher, son Michael Hindle, daughter-in-law Kristy Hindle, sister Joanne Guarnieri, brother-in-law Paul Guarnieri and grandchildren Victoria Fisher, Connor Fisher, Julia Thomas and Jonas Hindle.

Though Dorothy loved to travel, read, go to the lake, and ski in her younger years, Dorothy’s favorite role was that as a grandparent.  She treasured her time with her grandkids and loved being their G’ma.  

Dorothy was an active Red Hats member and developed many close friendships there that she cherished.  Her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

A memorial mass will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church in Lakehurst NJ on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 11:00am.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude at http://fundraising.stjude.org/goto/dorothyhindle
