The family of Edmund DiGiovanni sadly announce his sudden, unexpected passing at his home on May 7, 2025 from natural causes.
Edmund graduated Central Regional High School, Montclair State University, and also studied at NYU. As a lover of theater and drama, he took acting lessons from Sandy Dennis, and was the founder of Season on the Line theatre company. He performed one man shows of his favorite authors, Dickens and Poe. He was a fan of Sinatra and Johnny Mathis.
As a retired teacher, he traveled to the Czech Republic to teach English as a second language.
He is predeceased by his parents, Edmund and Rita; and by his wife, Robin.
Edmund is survived by his beloved son and best friend, Julian; his sister, Marietta Darden and brother, Anthony, both of Delaware. He also leaves 3 cats with whom he shared his home and many cherished friends.
An inurnment will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025, at 11am at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, 62 Cedar Grove Rd, Toms River, NJ 08753.
