Elizabeth Jane Donaghy

Elizabeth J. "Lily" Donaghy, 84, of Toms River, went home to the Lord on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Barnegat Nursing Home. Born in Belfast, N. Ireland, she lived in Pt. Pleasant before moving to Toms River in 1999. She was a former parishioner of St. Peter's Church in Pt. Pleasant and a member of St. Joseph's Church in Toms River.

She was predeceased by her husband James Donaghy in 2002, her daughter Anne Donaghy in 2009 and her granddaughter Moriah O'Neill in 2012. Surviving are her loving daughters Eileen Parker and her husband Jeff of Barnegat and Betty Morrill and her husband Dave of Brick; her beloved son Jim Donaghy and his wife Fay of Punta Gorda, Fla; 7 adored grandchildren Sean O'Neill and his wife Lisa, Brian O'Neill and his wife Krystle, Fay Geiger and her husband Ferman, Erin Donaghy, Jamie Fratangelo, Anne Marie Fratangelo and Kyle Morrill; 3 cherished great grandchildren Calleigh O'Neill, Nevaeh O'Neill and Patrick Geiger. She is also survived by her loving cousins, and many nieces and nephews in Ireland.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main St. Toms River. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave., Toms River. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Toms River.
