Eric Jamison Pierce, 27, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed on October 28, 2025 at home. Born on May 17, 1998, to Susan and James Pierce, Eric brought light, laughter and love to those who met him. Though he faced many struggles in life, Eric never stopped believing. He found strength in the Scriptures and comfort in his relationship with God. He had a gift for making others laugh, for being a good listener and for seeing beauty and humor, even in hard times. He was known for his quick wit, his thoughtful nature and the kindness he showed freely. He was a devoted brother to Alyssa Benitez and Carly Nakamura, and an uncle to 12 nephews and nieces. His family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace, embraced by God's eternal light. Though his time on earth was short, Eric's joy, humor and caring spirit left a lasting mark on everyone he met. He will be remembered for his listening ear, his faith and the warmth of his smile.
