

Born in Washington, DC, she grew up in Union City, NJ and lived in Bloomingdale, NJ for many years.
She lived briefly in both Fort Pierce, FL and Forked River, NJ before settling in Whiting in 2005.
Mrs. Visaggio was an active member of the Cedar Glen Lakes community, and enjoyed wood carving, painting, and crafting.
She also enjoyed volunteering with the local food pantry.
Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years as a Security Manager for several retail stores in North Jersey, including Bradlees and Harmony Hut.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 1994, and by her siblings, James Rhiel and Joyce Jaccodi.
She is survived by her children, Steven Visaggio and his wife Barbara of Vernon, NJ, Jane Ward of Olathe, KS, Robert Visaggio and his wife Karol of Haskell, NJ, Suzanne Visaggio-Weissner and her husband George of Whiting, and Lance Visaggio of West Milford, NJ; her sister, Gloria Gephart of Brick and Douglas Rhiel of Charleston, SC; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was private, under the care of Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. The family will host a gathering to celebrate Mrs. Visaggio's life at her late residence on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 3pm.
