Jennie A. Castro

Born in Santa Clara County, CA, Mrs. Castro lived in Albuquerque, NM prior to relocating to New Jersey in 1945. She first lived in Moonachie, then Toms River, before settling in Manchester with her husband, Guido. She was a secretary and customer service representative for United Water, retiring around 1990.

Jennie was predeceased by her parents, Carlo and Anna Cimino; sisters, Mary Pascetti, Josephine Pascetti, and Mayme Proscia; and her first husband, John Romano. Surviving are her husband of over 22 years, Guido "Guy" Castro; children, Linda Horvath, of Little Ferry, NJ, and Nancy Blauvelt, and her husband, Russell, of Paterson, NJ; grandchildren, Lisa Robertson, and her husband, Shawn, Russell Blauvelt, and his wife, Dawn, and Matthew Blauvelt; great-grandchildren, Emma Grace Robertson, Cooper, Chace and Charlotte Blauvelt; twin brother, Rev. Michael Cimino, of Albuquerque, NM, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 9AM to 9:30AM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10AM at St. John RC Church, 619 Chestnut Street, Lakehurst. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
