Joseph P. Schneider

Joseph is survived by Judith Schneider, his loving wife of 43 years. They were married on June 18, 1977. 

Joseph is lovingly remembered by his son Nicholas and his wife Marissa and his son Daniel and his wife Kelly. Beloved grandfather of Elizabeth, Abigail, Zachary, Charlie, Owen, and Brooke Schneider. He is also remembered by his brother Carl and his wife Cheryl Schneider, as well as many nephews. 

Joseph is predeceased by his parents Helen and Joseph Schneider, brothers John Schneider, Robert Schneider and sister Stella Sienkiewicz.

Joseph was born in Elizabeth, NJ on February 8, 1945. Joe graduated from Linden High School in1964.  Before Joe and Judi moved to Toms River they were devoted members of St. Agnes Church in Clark, N.J. where they made many lifelong friends. They then became parishioners of St. Luke’s Church in Toms River. Joe worked as a Senior Supervisor in Stores and Standby for Merck & Co., Rahway, NJ for over 22 years. After Joe’s retirement from Merck he was the proprietor of Lake Lighting & Electric. Since moving to Lake Ridge seven years ago Joe was an activemember on the Billiards Committee.

Joe loved spending time with his grandchildren, going to the beach with his wife Judi, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

There are no formal arrangements at this time. Joseph’s family looks forward to celebrating his life with family and friends at a later date.
